The Winter School on Electrocatalysis towards a Greener Society is a one-week programme hosted by the University of Antwerp. It will introduce participants to the field of green electrochemistry, with a focus on current hot topics such as CO₂ reduction to valuable chemicals and hydrogen production. The programme combines lectures by leading experts, opportunities to discuss your own work, and small-group practical sessions to gain hands-on experience with electrochemical techniques and data analysis.
Among the confirmed speakers for 2026 are ANION members Prof. Marc Koper (Leiden University) and Dr. Amanda Garcia (University of Amsterdam), alongside other internationally recognised researchers from academia and industry.
The Winter School is designed for PhD students and final-year Master’s students in chemistry, engineering, or related fields, but professionals and industry participants are also welcome to apply.
