We are very pleased to invite you to attend the second MESA+ Operando HAXPES User Meeting on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

This year’s event will take the shape of a focused mini-conference dedicated to near-ambient-pressure XPS (NAP-XPS / APXPS) and operando HAXPES. The meeting brings together researchers from across Europe to share the latest experimental advances. We will showcase recent achievements since the installation of the MESA+ Operando HAXPES facility, and explore how the setup can support future research.

A highlight of the program will be keynote and invited lectures by leading APXPS and HAXPES experts, offering an up-to-date overview of emerging methods, technical innovations, and scientific frontiers in the field.

We will also host an interactive poster session, designed to be informal, inspiring, and accessible to all participants — especially students and new users.

This session is a great opportunity to bring your own poster, share your work, and receive feedback from peers and experts in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether your project is in progress, your data are preliminary, or you simply want to discuss a concept — you are warmly encouraged to take part!

The meeting will take place at the University of Twente and will be organized in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation.

Poster session guidelines
  • Keep it informal: Posters may highlight background information, experimental setups, first results, or open questions — no need for a polished final story.
  • Encourage dialogue: Space will be available next to each poster for notes and feedback to stimulate discussion and collaboration.
  • Learn from each other: The focus is on peer learning, idea sharing, and community building.

To attend the HAXPES user meeting and to submit your poster title, please register using the link below. The registration deadline is February 5, 2026.
